CCTV and call recording
We use CCTV cameras at some locations in our holiday parks for crime prevention and safety reasons. Telephone calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes (this also includes our out of hours answer service).
With whom do we share your personal information?
In connection with the uses referred to above, we may disclose your personal information to certain third parties, including:
- organisations that provide services to us. For example, we may engage third party service providers to send postal mail and email, maintain and update our databases of customer details (including the removal of repetitive information), analyse data, provide marketing assistance (including online targeted advertising), process card payments, provide customer service and handle claims;
- in the event that you purchase a caravan to a finance arrangement, your information will be disclosed to the finance provider; we may also share your information with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies as part of the checks that we undertake before selling a caravan or lodge; this is normally dealt with by Black Horse our financial agent.
- to external agencies and organisations (including the police and other law enforcement agencies) for the purpose of preventing and detecting fraud (including fraudulent transactions) and criminal activity and for the assessment and collection of tax; and
- our insurers and insurance brokers and our and their advisers in the event that a claim is made or could be made against us.
In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose personal information held by us to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets. If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party (or subject to a reorganisation within our corporate group), personal information held by us will be one of the transferred assets.
